Data Engineer – French Speaking (Hybrid, Lisbon/Porto)

About the role

Aubay Portugal is looking for a French‑speaking Data Engineer to join its growing data team. You will design, build and optimise data pipelines that support critical systems for large organisations in banking, insurance, telecom and energy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise end‑to‑end data pipelines.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and availability across large data volumes.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and workflow orchestration tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver data‑driven solutions.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot pipeline issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
• Fluent in French (B2‑C1) and English (minimum B2).
• Valid work permit for Portugal.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (one day per week on‑site in Lisbon or Porto).

Required skills

• Python programming.
• SQL query writing.
• Scala development.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools.
