Corporate Tax Director – Global Tax Leadership

About the role

As Corporate Tax Director you will join the Global Corporate Tax team of Muehlhan Group, based in Porto, Portugal. You will act as the central knowledge hub for tax matters across the organisation, supporting the Group’s international expansion and ensuring robust corporate tax, intercompany and transfer‑pricing structures.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation and maintenance of the Group’s corporate and intercompany structure.
• Investigate and help design cross‑border working models from tax, transfer‑pricing, risk and operational perspectives.
• Provide guidance on tax‑related matters and prepare documentation for future business use cases.
• Develop and enhance the organisation’s tax practices and policies.
• Manage communication with external tax advisors and specialists.
• Support tax due diligence, structuring and review activities related to mergers and acquisitions.
• Monitor international tax regulation developments across relevant jurisdictions.
• Increase internal tax awareness and advise employees on intercompany transactions.
• Support transfer‑pricing compliance and documentation obligations across Group entities.
• Assess and manage permanent establishment risks in new and existing markets.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Finance, Operations, Legal and Sales functions.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in corporate tax, transfer pricing and international tax compliance.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with Finance, Operations, Legal and Sales teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 50 days per year) and support integration of newly acquired businesses.
