Senior Accounting Compliance & Reporting – Financial Services

About the role

Join EY's Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) team to help financial services clients improve the efficiency of their accounting, tax compliance and reporting processes. You will work on multi‑service line projects, preparing local and consolidated financial statements and supporting smoother audits.

Key responsibilities

• Provide integrated accounting, tax compliance and reporting services for financial services and insurance clients.
• Create, implement and maintain accounting policy and procedure documentation.
• Develop accounting analyses, validations and effective reporting solutions in line with local and group requirements.
• Support implementation of key regulatory requirements and identify risks or improvement opportunities.
• Manage teams, build professional relationships with customers and demonstrate in‑depth technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, Finance or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting, tax compliance and reporting, preferably in financial services.
• Familiarity with IFRS, especially banking and insurance sectors, and knowledge of SNC and NCRF.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in Portuguese and English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Navision or Primavera.
