Internal Control Support – Investment Sector

About the role

Join Devoteam’s Investment Sector team to support the Internal Control function, executing second‑line‑of‑defense activities and ensuring the effectiveness of key controls across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Perform design and operating effectiveness testing of key controls.
• Review and analyse control evidence provided by control owners.
• Conduct walkthroughs with first‑line owners to understand processes and validate control execution.
• Document testing results, findings and recommendations, and prepare testing reports.
• Support remediation follow‑up and continuous improvement of the Internal Control Framework.
• Prepare reporting materials for management and governance committees.
• Engage with stakeholders across business and support functions to facilitate control testing activities.

Required profile

• Experience in Internal Controls, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, Information Security or External Audit.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and governance principles such as COSO.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a governance and control environment.
