About the role
We are seeking a high‑velocity Business Development Executive to expand UNYX’s cross‑border payment rails among mid‑market, regulated financial institutions. You will focus on agile fintechs, EMIs, PSPs and MSBs that need faster, cheaper settlement in emerging‑market corridors.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and prospect founders, CEOs and heads of payments at target institutions worldwide.
- Present UNYX’s AI‑powered settlement network as a direct‑settlement alternative to reduce correspondent‑bank fees and settlement delays.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from cold outreach to contract signing, typically within 30‑90 days.
- Conduct deep discovery calls to map cross‑border friction points and tailor solutions.
- Maintain accurate CRM data and provide market feedback to leadership for corridor expansion.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience selling cross‑border payments, FX or payment‑rail solutions to mid‑market fintechs.
- Proven ability to close deals quickly with founders or senior executives.
- Strong understanding of emerging‑market payment corridors (LATAM, Africa, APAC).
- “Anti‑bank” mindset – thrives in fast‑moving, small‑team environments.
Required skills
- Knowledge of cross‑border payments, foreign‑exchange and payment‑rail products.
- Experience selling to EMIs, PSPs, MSBs or remittance providers.
