Associate Recruiter – Remote (Portugal)

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Recruiter to join a fast‑paced, remote‑first team based in Portugal. You will work closely with senior recruiters and hiring managers to source, evaluate, and engage top talent across both technical and business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Review inbound applications for multiple open positions and identify qualified candidates using structured assessment methods.
• Conduct recruiter phone screens to evaluate experience, skills, motivation, and role fit.
• Leverage recruiting platforms and sourcing tools to streamline candidate evaluation and improve hiring efficiency.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and execute tailored recruiting strategies.
• Manage several recruitment processes simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of candidate experience.
• Adapt screening approaches to diverse job profiles and contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting workflows.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of recruiting experience in a staffing agency or in‑house talent acquisition team.
• Proven ability to handle high volumes of applications and consistently identify strong talent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong rapport‑building abilities.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn about different functions and industries.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently in a fully remote environment.
