AI Technical Product Manager (QVAC) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an AI Technical Product Manager to drive the vision of QV.AC, a privacy‑preserving, on‑device AI assistant. You will work closely with the Product Lead to translate user needs into AI‑powered features and guide them from concept through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define concrete use cases, feature proposals and product requirements for QV.AC.
• Gather user feedback, conduct research and identify where AI can solve meaningful problems.
• Write product briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria and user flows for engineering and design.
• Create wireframes, mockups and working prototypes to test and communicate ideas.
• Collaborate with engineers on technical trade‑offs such as latency, memory, battery consumption and privacy.
• Support backlog prioritisation, scope clarification and release readiness.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging AI models, tools and interaction patterns and recommend practical experiments.

Required profile

• 7+ years of product management experience, preferably on AI software products.
• Hands‑on experience building, shipping or prototyping AI‑powered features.
• Strong ability to turn ambiguous ideas into clear user problems and actionable requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to discuss technical trade‑offs with engineers and explain them to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset and experience working in distributed teams.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of AI concepts such as inference, model capabilities, context and evaluation.
• Experience with local, on‑device AI and open‑source models.
• Prototyping using design or coding tools.
• Familiarity with product analytics and iterative software development.
