Account Specialist – Social Media

About the role

As an Account Specialist you will own the day‑to‑day operations of complex social media accounts for SAMY in Portugal. You will combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution to deliver high‑impact campaigns while safeguarding budgets and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall management of multi‑channel social media accounts, acting as the primary client contact.
• Oversee community management, branded content, and web‑series projects from concept through launch.
• Negotiate and collaborate with creators and influencers to secure partnerships.
• Maintain full control over project timelines, workflows, deliverables, and budgets.
• Build reporting dashboards, contribute to strategic planning and support new‑business proposals.

Required profile

• Proven experience balancing client management, social media strategy, content creation and project management.
• Proactive, independent mindset with the ability to keep projects on track without compromising quality.
• Experience managing budgets, tracking performance and understanding business margins.
• Strong creative thinking grounded in solid account strategy.
• Deep knowledge of the Portuguese market landscape and audience trends.
