Test Lead (French Speaker)

About the role

We are looking for a Test Lead who is fluent in French and English to join our growing QA team in Portugal. The role combines hands‑on testing with leadership of test activities across multiple projects, working in a hybrid setting (two days a week on‑site in Lisbon or Porto).

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, execute and document manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Manage defects and track testing progress using tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Conduct exploratory, risk‑based and usability testing to uncover hidden issues.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
• Mentor junior testers and promote best practices within the QA team.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Fluent in English (B2) and French (B2) – both written and spoken.
• Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Jira for defect management.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for test tracking.
• Strong manual testing expertise, including exploratory, risk‑based and usability testing.
