Senior Solution Architect IT/OT Security Platforms

About the role

As a Senior Solution Architect for IT/OT Security Platforms, you will define the technical vision and architecture of strategic service offerings that enable secure, reliable, and scalable digital services across Siemens factories worldwide. You will work closely with factories, cybersecurity experts, service managers, product teams, and technology partners to design future‑ready solutions aligned with Siemens’ Zero Trust and digitalization strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve the target architecture for IT/OT Security Platforms such as SINEC Secure Connect and ManageEngine.
• Define secure IT/OT communication concepts based on Zero Trust principles, covering remote access, machine connectivity, and AI‑driven use cases.
• Support factories in integrating modern security and management solutions into brownfield environments, respecting legacy systems and industrial protocols.
• Translate business, security, and operational requirements into scalable platform architectures, governance models, technical standards, and implementation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with factories, cybersecurity teams, service owners, vendors, and technology partners to establish architecture standards and drive service adoption.
• Define integration concepts between connectivity services, endpoint management platforms, monitoring solutions, automation frameworks, and enterprise systems.
• Evaluate new technologies and architecture patterns to continuously evolve Siemens’ IT/OT security landscape.

Required profile

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity or a comparable qualification.
• Strong expertise in Zero Trust concepts and OT security.
• Proven experience designing large‑scale IT/OT architectures for industrial environments.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and translate complex requirements into concrete technical solutions.
