Senior HR Manager, Performance Management

About the role

COFCO International is seeking a Senior HR Manager to lead the design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of its global performance management framework. Based in Porto, Portugal, the role operates at a corporate level to align performance practices with business objectives, culture, and talent strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global performance management process and operating model that supports the company’s strategic goals.
• Partner with HR Business Partners, business leaders, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, and executive leadership to drive a high‑performance culture.
• Own the annual and mid‑year performance cycles, ensuring consistent execution of goal setting, reviews, calibration, and performance discussions.
• Continuously improve governance standards, policies, guidelines, and rating methodologies.
• Monitor compliance across functions and geographies, promoting fairness, transparency, and effectiveness.
• Leverage data and analytics to assess and enhance employee and organizational performance.
• Design frameworks that cascade enterprise objectives into measurable individual goals.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in global performance management and HR governance.
• Proven ability to partner with senior business leaders and cross‑functional HR teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive HR decisions.
• Demonstrated track record of fostering a culture of continuous feedback and accountability.
• Ability to work in a multinational environment and ensure consistency across diverse regions.
