Mobile App Developer (ContiConnect)

About the role

Continental’s Data & Customer Solutions Competence Center is looking for a Mobile App Developer to join the global ContiConnect team. You will work in a Scrum environment, collaborating with backend developers, solutions architects, data engineers and hardware experts to deliver and enhance digital tire‑monitoring services for commercial fleets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and iterate mobile applications using agile software engineering principles.
• Refactor existing code and write unit tests in a modern Flutter application.
• Design and implement new functionalities for current mobile apps.
• Participate in all stages of product development within a Scrum team.
• Collaborate with the hardware development team on IoT solutions.
• Create proof‑of‑concepts for future mobile applications.
• Define API endpoint specifications together with the backend team.
• Work with UI/UX designers to apply modern design languages such as Material Design.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in mobile application development.
• Solid knowledge of native Android and/or native iOS development.
• Familiarity with Flutter or another cross‑platform framework is a plus.
• Understanding of micro‑services architectures and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure) is beneficial.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and version control (Git) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of third‑party libraries/APIs and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) on Android/iOS is a plus.
• Business‑fluent English (written and spoken) and strong communication skills.
