Mid Fullstack Java/React Developer (Nearshore)

About the role

We are looking for a talented Mid Fullstack Java/React Developer to join our near‑shore team supporting a Belgian client. You will design, develop and maintain robust full‑stack applications that serve global customers, working in a collaborative, agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Java and frontend interfaces with React (or Angular).
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑documented code following industry standards.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third‑party services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback and implement improvements.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise application performance across the full stack.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Engage actively in agile ceremonies such as stand‑ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional development experience.
• Proven experience with Java backend development.
• Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript (Angular experience is a plus).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with relational (SQL) and non‑relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
