IT Technician

About the role

Volkswagen Group Services is seeking an IT Technician to join its team in Palmela. You will be the first point of contact for end‑users, delivering both remote and on‑site support while ensuring a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, log, and track IT support requests, maintaining detailed records.
• Provide remote and on‑site technical assistance, including hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Set up laptops, smartphones, and user accounts, managing permissions and access rights.
• Maintain hardware and software inventory and follow incident‑management processes.
• Communicate status updates to end‑users and collaborate with the IT team to improve support processes.
• Assist the IT Helpdesk Specialist with various tasks as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma; a degree or certification in Information Technology is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience.
• Fluent English communication skills.
