IT Support Engineer

About the role

WPP is looking for an IT Support Engineer to deliver world‑class, on‑site technology services to its employees, agencies and visiting clients. The role is based in Lisbon and requires a 100% on‑site presence, with occasional travel to other agency locations as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site desktop support to WPP agencies in Lisbon and other locations when required.
• Deliver remote assistance to agencies across the wider region.
• Maintain and support meeting‑room AV equipment and other standard technology services.
• Log all IT engagements in the ticketing system and ensure accurate reporting of demand and performance.
• Handle onboarding and off‑boarding activities, including user account administration and asset management.
• Manage Level 1 and Level 2 incidents and problems, diagnosing issues and coordinating with internal and external resources to achieve resolution.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑focused attitude with the ability to build excellent relationships with business users.
• Proactive communicator who can educate end‑users on technology tools and services.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of following defined processes and standards.

Required skills

• Experience with ticketing systems for incident and request management.
• Knowledge of user account administration and asset management procedures.
• Ability to support AV equipment in meeting rooms.
• Competence in Level 1 and Level 2 troubleshooting and problem resolution.
