HR Generalist

About the role

Checkmarx is seeking a proactive HR Generalist to join its People & Culture team in Braga. You will play a key part in attracting and onboarding talent while supporting broader People initiatives in a fast‑moving technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes for multiple teams, from sourcing to offer.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role expectations, interview steps, and hiring priorities.
• Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth integration for new hires.
• Assist with People‑related documentation, internal coordination, and process improvements.
• Contribute to employer branding and talent attraction campaigns.
• Collaborate on cross‑functional People projects and internal initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in a tech setting.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, adaptable, and solution‑focused.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining close collaboration with the team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR information systems.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter for sourcing.
• Competence with Microsoft Office tools.
