Cyber Security Senior Officer – Lisbon or Porto

About the role

We are seeking a Cyber Security Senior Officer to join an international team in Portugal. The role will focus on identifying, assessing, and managing cyber security risks across multiple strategic initiatives, with a strong emphasis on cloud‑based solutions and compliance with corporate security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and manage cyber security risks across diverse IT environments.
• Ensure compliance with corporate cyber security and risk management policies.
• Provide security advisory to IT and business stakeholders.
• Review security deliverables from IT Security Analysts within the project portfolio.
• Participate in cybersecurity projects, defining solutions, tools, and processes.
• Perform in‑depth analysis of complex security scenarios, especially cloud architectures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of security processes and practices.
• Leverage AI‑driven approaches to facilitate security operations and analysis.

Required profile

• Academic background in IT or a related field (mandatory).
• Strong teamwork skills in global, multicultural environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Results‑oriented, client‑focused, with high integrity and accountability.
• Ability to manage complex challenges with a structured approach.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IT security standards: ISO/IEC 27000 series, ISO 27005, ISO 31000.
• Good understanding of application and technology architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud‑based architectures.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven security operations.
