Cyber Security Analyst – Banking Sector

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to support our banking clients in managing IT risk and ensuring compliance with information security standards. You will work closely with stakeholders across functions to monitor, assess, and report on security controls and risk mitigation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support stakeholders in completing IT risk cards and capture all critical information.
• Review and challenge risk documentation to guarantee quality, accuracy, and compliance with established standards.
• Design and continuously improve processes for monitoring and tracking action plans, ensuring effective risk mitigation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of IT risks, including key metrics, alerts, and trends.
• Prepare and deliver reports, dashboards, and summaries for IT risk and control committees at function, business unit, and regional levels.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to foster a culture of accountability and proactive risk management.
• Identify opportunities to enhance risk reporting and monitoring, providing recommendations to improve processes and tools.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of IT operations and controls.
• Strong knowledge of information security principles, including business continuity, cybersecurity, and governance, risk & compliance aligned with ISO 27000‑series or equivalent standards.
• Experience implementing and managing IT control frameworks and conducting risk assessments.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in English; French language skills are a plus.
