Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

About the role

The Keenfinity Group is seeking a senior Chief Information Security Officer to lead security across its four business units during a strategic divestiture period. Reporting to the Director IT STG, the CISO will own the security risk profile, interact directly with buyer security teams, and ensure the company’s security posture supports successful exits.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the IT security strategy, including threat landscape assessment, architecture principles and risk appetite.
• Establish and maintain a governance framework (policies, standards, exception management, enterprise risk register).
• Report monthly security risk status to the Director IT STG and produce quarterly dashboards for the private‑equity owner.
• Provide security sign‑off at every business‑unit divestiture phase gate, ensuring network separation, IAM tenant split, data classification, encryption and tooling carve‑out.
• Advise on security implications of cost‑reduction initiatives such as vendor consolidation, license exits and cloud rightsizing.
• Oversee SIEM/SOC, IAM and ISMS functions through dedicated leads.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in enterprise information security.
• Proven track record in PE‑backed environments and managing security for divestiture or M&A transactions.
• Strong communication skills to interact with internal leadership and external buyer security teams.
• Ability to prioritize ruthlessly under a defined exit horizon.

Required skills

• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Operations Center (SOC) oversight.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) implementation and governance.
• Information Security Management System (ISMS) management, preferably ISO 27001.
• Risk management and security governance frameworks.
• Security architecture and threat modeling.
