About the role
We are looking for a full‑time Server to join our team at the JW Marriott in Lisbon. The role involves delivering high‑quality food and beverage service while ensuring guest satisfaction in a luxury hotel environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests.
- Set tables according to event type and service standards.
- Answer menu questions and communicate with the kitchen regarding orders, wait times, and product availability.
- Record transactions in the MICROS POS system.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and beverage.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, and related equipment throughout the shift.
- Complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights.
- Present accurate checks to guests and process payments.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant server or food‑and‑beverage experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification required.
Required skills
- MICROS POS system.
- Payment processing.
