Restaurant Server – Full-time

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Server to join our team at the JW Marriott in Lisbon. The role involves delivering high‑quality food and beverage service while ensuring guest satisfaction in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Answer menu questions and communicate with the kitchen regarding orders, wait times, and product availability.
• Record transactions in the MICROS POS system.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and beverage.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, and related equipment throughout the shift.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights.
• Present accurate checks to guests and process payments.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant server or food‑and‑beverage experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
