Service Desk Operator

About the role

As a Service Desk Operator at Netcompany you will be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues. You will ensure incidents are logged, diagnosed, resolved or escalated efficiently while maintaining clear communication with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Log, categorize, prioritize, diagnose, resolve, and close incidents and service requests.
• Provide technical support for Windows environments, common desktop software, hardware, automated software distribution, telephony, video conferencing, and mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Microsoft Surface Pro).
• Maintain accurate records in ticketing and CMDB tools and ensure timely updates to users.
• Deliver on‑site IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Decommission) tasks at user locations.
• Participate in after‑hours and on‑call support when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Service Desk Operator or IT Support Specialist.
• Fluent in English and French with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, collaborate with teams, and maintain a customer‑focused attitude.

• Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems.
• MS Office Suite.
