Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Attune is building an AI system that helps professionals communicate more effectively by analysing real conversations. We are looking for a senior software engineer to design and implement the core infrastructure that powers long‑term memory, pattern extraction, and uncertainty handling across user interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop product features that ingest and analyse real conversation data.
• Build and maintain systems for long‑term memory and knowledge retrieval.
• Implement logic that adapts to evidence strength and model uncertainty.
• Improve reliability, traceability, and consistency of AI outputs.
• Participate in system‑level decisions affecting product behaviour and user trust.
• Iterate quickly by building, testing, refining, and shipping code.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and experimentation.
• Collaborate closely with product and AI leads to turn ideas into working systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping real products or substantial systems.
• Comfort with ambiguous requirements and evolving ideas.
• Ability to think beyond implementation, considering edge cases and system coherence.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ownership mindset focused on outcomes, not just tasks.

Required skills

• Experience with memory systems, retrieval, or knowledge representation (nice to have).
• Background building AI‑driven products end‑to‑end (nice to have).
• Familiarity with AI tools and modern software development practices.
