Senior Full-Stack Python Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a cross‑functional team building the core of an AI‑driven document processing platform for a global financial services and investment banking group. The role blends backend development in Python with front‑end work using TypeScript and modern React‑based frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django or similar).
• Build responsive UI components using TypeScript, React, Next.js or comparable frameworks.
• Create and integrate high‑performance REST APIs and micro‑services.
• Collaborate with GenAI engineers to embed AI‑driven document‑processing features.
• Implement data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Utilise Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub and Cloud Storage.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, design patterns and technical road‑maps.
• Write automated tests, ensure code quality, maintainability and security.
• Partner with product managers, designers and QA to deliver solutions on schedule.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong backend and full‑stack exposure.
• Hands‑on experience designing micro‑services, APIs and cloud‑native applications.
• Proven ability to work in agile, cross‑functional teams on complex products.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, hands‑on attitude.
