About the role
TCL Electronics is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to lead the growth of its MDA (Media, Devices & Appliances) business in Portugal. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, driving profitable growth, and managing day‑to‑day execution with key customers.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve yearly sales and profit targets for assigned customers.
- Negotiate annual contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.
- Resolve financial and logistics issues with customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities, set benchmarks, and expand market share.
- Provide market insights, prepare counter‑plans, and act as a market leader.
- Visit key retail locations to ensure proper product display.
- Analyze display share, sell‑out performance, and improve shop results.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and invoice controls.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of professional sales experience in the MDA industry.
- Strong analytical, planning and forecasting abilities.
- In‑depth knowledge of the Portuguese MDA market.
- Ability to work independently, set priorities and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Results‑oriented and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English.
- Based in the Lisbon area.
