Junior Developer - Marketing Tech

About the role

Farfetch is looking for a motivated Junior Marketing Tech Engineer to join its Marketing team in Porto. You will act as the technical engine behind the company’s marketing architecture, bridging software engineering and digital marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with web and mobile engineering teams to maintain and implement tracking code for accurate campaign data.
• Develop and troubleshoot backend automation tools and API connections using Python and Google Cloud Platform.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues such as tag behavior, server‑side tracking, and mobile deep‑linking.
• Partner with the Marketing Tech Principal to design and deploy production‑ready AI agents for internal marketing use.

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in a technical or developer role.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong curiosity for AI agents, prompt engineering, and multi‑agent systems.
• Fast learner comfortable with new technologies.
