Développeur Java (French Speaker) – Hybrid, Lisbon

About the role

KCS IT is seeking a motivated Java Developer who is fluent in French to join our hybrid team in Lisbon. You will work on diverse client projects, building robust backend solutions while collaborating in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring/Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs within micro‑services architectures.
• Work with both SQL and No‑SQL databases to store and retrieve data.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and ensure automated testing coverage.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams following Agile/Scrum practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
• Fluency in French (mandatory).
• Willingness to work on‑site part of the week in Lisbon.
