Cybersecurity Expert (Mid‑Level)

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level Cybersecurity Expert to join our growing team in Portugal. You will work on safeguarding our digital assets, implementing security policies, and supporting our internal programmes across Lisbon and Porto.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor cybersecurity policies and controls.
• Track vulnerabilities, data breaches and suspicious activities across endpoints, email and access systems.
• Investigate incidents, lead incident‑response actions and mitigate associated risks.
• Promote security best practices within project teams.
• Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery, Remediation and Business Continuity Plans.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in governance, compliance, risk management or DLP within cybersecurity projects.
• Hands‑on experience with vulnerability monitoring and incident investigation.
• Familiarity with ISO 27000, 31000 and 22000 series, as well as NIST, COBIT or NIS2 frameworks.
• Fluent English (required).
