About the role
Promptly is seeking a Business Developer to expand its presence within Portuguese public health institutions. The role focuses on selling Promptly’s patient‑centered data platform to hospitals, health systems and related organisations. You will work closely with product and solutions teams to translate technical capabilities into clear business value.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, map and qualify target public‑health accounts across Portugal, building a robust pipeline from initial contact to signed contract.
- Navigate complex multi‑stakeholder procurement processes, including public tender procedures, to secure new business.
- Develop and execute account plans for priority hospitals, aligning Promptly’s platform with the strategic needs of CIOs, clinical informatics leads and health‑system directors.
- Lead commercial conversations and product demonstrations, partnering with product teams to showcase technical depth.
- Expand existing relationships into additional departments, data‑use cases and multi‑year contract frameworks.
Required profile
- 4‑5 years of experience selling enterprise technology platforms to the Portuguese public‑health sector.
- Deep understanding of public‑hospital procurement cycles and tender processes.
- Proven ability to manage long sales cycles with multiple decision‑makers.
- Strong communication skills in English and Portuguese.
