Test Manager - French Speaker

About the role

Aubay Portugal is seeking an experienced Test Manager who is fluent in French to lead manual testing activities for critical systems across banking, insurance, telecom and energy sectors. You will work in a hybrid model, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, execute and document manual test cases, including exploratory, risk‑based and usability testing.
• Manage defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps and ensure timely resolution.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, identify quality risks and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Project Managers and Development Teams in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.
• Drive continuous improvement of manual testing processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on manual testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in English (B1+) and French (B2+).
• Ability to work independently and proactively within a collaborative team.
