Team Lead DevOps

About the role

Join a leading iGaming innovation client as a Team Lead DevOps, driving the design, delivery, and operation of cloud‑native platforms that power cutting‑edge games such as the globally popular Aviator. You will lead a high‑performing engineering team, ensuring stability, security, and rapid delivery of infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day leadership of the DevOps/System Engineering team, managing sprint planning, task tracking and workload distribution.
• Coordinate with architects, product owners and stakeholders to prioritize work and align on technical direction.
• Maintain high availability, reliability and security of both cloud (AWS) and on‑premise environments.
• Oversee infrastructure changes using Terraform, Kubernetes and automation tools, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Guide CI/CD pipeline design and review infrastructure implementations without micromanaging.
• Act as the primary escalation point for delivery, operational and environment‑related incidents.
• Identify process bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement in team efficiency.

Required profile

• 6+ years of DevOps/Infrastructure Engineering experience, primarily in AWS‑based environments.
• 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring or managing DevOps or Platform teams.
• Proven ability to work in regulated or security‑restricted settings while balancing speed and compliance.
• Strong ownership mindset with accountability for team outcomes and operational continuity.
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical risks and trade‑offs to non‑technical stakeholders.
