Senior Backend Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend services that solve real customer problems.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, actively participating in problem discovery and solution creation.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of new features and improvements.
• Maximize the team’s output by enhancing functionality, addressing technical debt, and improving collaboration and communication.

Required profile

• Passion for technology combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• 5+ years of professional experience building backend systems in fast‑paced environments.
• Experience with fintech, highly regulated industries, or document processing is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in TypeScript (or any strongly typed language) and backend development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience with Nest.js or similar frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Understanding of system design principles, scalability, and performance tuning.
