Tax Manager – Transfer Pricing

About the role

Amgen is looking for a Transfer Pricing Manager to lead the global documentation process, ensuring compliance with OECD and local tax requirements. The role sits at the intersection of tax, finance, legal and supply‑chain functions, translating Amgen’s business operations into robust transfer pricing documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review and finalisation of the OECD Master File, U.S. Section 6662 package and all local country transfer pricing files.
• Own the annual documentation cycle, including planning, scoping, timeline management and coordination with regional stakeholders and external advisors.
• Perform functional and economic analyses and evaluate third‑party benchmarking studies for technical robustness.
• Ensure alignment between transfer pricing documentation, financial results and inter‑company agreements.
• Strengthen audit defence, support global tax risk management and contribute to controversy strategy.
• Advance documentation standards, governance processes and technology‑enabled workflows to improve efficiency and consistency.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading transfer pricing documentation projects across multiple jurisdictions.
• Deep knowledge of OECD Master File, local country file requirements and U.S. Section 6662 documentation.
• Ability to coordinate with Finance, Legal, Supply Chain and business stakeholders to capture operational details.
• Experience conducting functional and economic analyses and reviewing benchmarking studies.
• Background in audit defence and global tax risk management.
