Tax Manager

At Auxadi, we are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Lisbon. Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee compliance with local tax obligations, ensuring accurate and timely submission of all tax filings.
• Manage and review tax returns prepared by operational teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to internal procedures.
• Coordinate and supervise tax audits, acting as the primary contact and delivering strategic responses.
• Review and validate responses to tax authority inquiries, guaranteeing technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Accounting and other business areas to deliver integrated, high‑quality service.
• Lead, develop, and evaluate the tax team, identifying talent and supervising workload.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Tax or related field; Master’s or specialization in Taxation is highly valued.
• Extensive experience in international professional services firms providing tax services to multinational clients.
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese tax legislation and compliance requirements.
• Native or bilingual Portuguese and fluent English (C1 level or above).
• Proven leadership and people‑management abilities.
