Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting qualified candidates to fill open positions. The role works closely with hiring managers to understand requirements and ensure a smooth hiring process from initial contact to onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
• Create detailed job descriptions and post them on relevant platforms.
• Review resumes, conduct phone screenings, and assess candidate fit with qualifications and company culture.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews, providing a professional experience for candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain relationships with candidates, offering guidance and updates throughout the recruitment process.
• Extend job offers, negotiate terms, and ensure successful onboarding.
• Maintain a database of potential candidates for future openings.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet hiring goals and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, documenting recruitment activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, psychology or related field (preferred).
• 1‑3 years of proven recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Effective negotiation skills for job offers.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Adaptability to a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
