About the role

Optum is seeking a Contractor Talent Acquisition Recruiter to support high‑volume hiring for its San Juan office. The recruiter will manage end‑to‑end hiring processes, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation, ensuring a transparent and respectful candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct face‑to‑face and telephone interviews using behavior‑based techniques and standardized templates.
• Source, screen, and present pre‑qualified candidates to hiring managers across a broad range of roles.
• Provide detailed candidate assessments and recommend offer amounts using Optum’s talent acquisition tools.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including selection, offer, negotiation, and closing.
• Collaborate with sourcing teams on short‑ and long‑term marketing campaigns and referral programs.
• Maintain compliance with employment law and promote diversity‑focused sourcing strategies.
