Supply Chain Manager – Production Facility in Porto

About the role

The company is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead end‑to‑end supply chain operations at its production facility in Porto, Portugal. This senior leadership position is responsible for ensuring on‑time, in‑full delivery while driving efficiency, service excellence and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all supply chain functions including planning, procurement, warehousing and distribution to achieve on‑time, in‑full delivery performance.
• Oversee inventory and capacity planning, balancing demand with cost‑effective resources.
• Manage supplier performance and identify sourcing and process improvement opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Develop and mentor the local supply chain team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Produce regular performance reports and KPIs to monitor efficiency, service levels and cost optimisation.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a production or FMCG supply chain environment with proven leadership ability.
• Strong analytical mindset and proactive, results‑oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese; additional languages are a plus.
