International Logistics & Trade Coordinator (Lisbon)

About the role

The International Logistics & Trade Coordinator will be based in Lisbon on a hybrid schedule, overseeing import‑export compliance between Asia and the United States. The role combines certification management, freight booking, shipment tracking and customs expertise to support the purchasing and warehouse teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage product and shipment certification and documentation required for import/export compliance between Asia and the US.
• Handle freight booking with carriers and forwarders, negotiating space and rates as needed.
• Track shipments end‑to‑end, proactively flagging delays or issues before they impact the warehouse.
• Coordinate inbound receiving at the US warehouse, ensuring paperwork, timing, and quantities match.
• Serve as the go‑to expert on customs, tariffs, and international shipping regulations for the purchasing team.
• Build relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to keep the pipeline efficient and cost‑effective.

Required profile

• Solid experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or trade compliance, ideally with Asia‑to‑US ocean and air freight.
• Working knowledge of customs documentation, certificates of origin, HS codes, and import/export regulations.
• Comfort managing multiple shipments and deadlines across time zones.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Lisbon.
