Freight Forwarder – Automotive Logistics (Porto)

About the role

We are looking for a Freight Forwarder to join our fast‑paced Automotive Logistics team in Porto. The role focuses on quoting and managing time‑critical shipments to and from Morocco, Portugal, Spain and France, ensuring speed, accuracy and high‑level customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Quote all shipment requests for Morocco, Portugal, Spain and France with speed and accuracy.
• Support automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, meeting strict SLAs and customs requirements.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating competitive rates using local market knowledge.
• Provide clear handovers, accurate reporting and support KPI requirements.
• Achieve strong quote‑to‑booking conversion rates and meet monthly profit targets.

Required profile

• Strong English communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience in logistics, transport planning or freight forwarding, including quoting and carrier interaction.
• Commercially aware negotiator with solid understanding of margin and pricing.
• Proficient in MS Office and quick to learn new systems.
• Customer‑focused, proactive and able to build strong internal and external relationships.
