Supply Chain Manager – Production Facility in Porto

About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead end‑to‑end supply chain operations at our production facility in Porto, Portugal. The role focuses on delivering service excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement across order management, planning, procurement, logistics and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all supply chain functions—including planning, procurement, warehousing and distribution—to achieve on‑time, in‑full delivery.
• Oversee inventory and capacity planning, balancing demand with cost‑effective resources.
• Manage supplier performance and drive sourcing and process improvements.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Develop and mentor the local supply chain team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Produce regular performance reports and KPIs to monitor efficiency, service levels and cost optimisation.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a production or FMCG supply chain environment with proven leadership ability.
• Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, results‑oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese; additional languages are a plus.
