Supply Chain Business Improver

About the role

Airbus Portugal GBS is seeking a Supply Chain Business Improver to drive operational excellence within the Cabin Supply Chain organization. The role bridges strategic initiatives and day‑to‑day operations, leading transformation projects, ensuring compliance with Airbus processes, and supporting digitalisation efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Support and enable operations to resolve complex internal and external supply‑chain challenges.
• Coordinate cross‑functional topics (PICOx) to deliver rapid, efficient results.
• Lead internal transformation projects and act as a work‑stream leader on externally driven initiatives such as ARP and Optiflow.
• Drive digitalisation of process‑improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Maintain operational knowledge, ensure process compliance, and manage internal communications within the PiCO team.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in supply chain, logistics or operations management, preferably in aerospace or heavy manufacturing.
• Proven track record of leading continuous‑improvement or transformation projects in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to analyse complex bottlenecks and propose actionable solutions.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
