Software Engineer (Python) – eBike

About the role

Bosch eBike is looking for a passionate Software Engineer with strong Python expertise to develop automated test environments and validation frameworks for Linux‑based embedded software. You will work on cutting‑edge eBike systems, ensuring high quality and reliability through hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Python‑based test frameworks for embedded Linux projects.
• Implement fully automated testing in Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) setups, including test execution, component resets, log collection and bug reporting.
• Create consolidated test reports and integrate automated testing into the continuous integration pipeline.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with Linux environments and embedded software development.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks, especially Pytest.
• Ability to work independently and solve complex technical challenges.
