Software Engineer - Microservices

About the role

SOFICO is looking for a Software Engineer specialized in microservices to help expand and enhance the Miles Enterprise platform. You will work on cloud‑native, scalable solutions that support global mobility, leasing, and fleet management operations.

Key responsibilities

• Translate domain models into microservice architectures using a domain‑driven design approach.
• Collaborate with internal API consumers and integrate external systems.
• Develop scalable, cloud‑native services employing CI/CD, containerization, and automated testing.
• Apply a security‑first mindset throughout the Secure Software Development Life Cycle.

Required profile

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience building production‑ready solutions.
• Strong proficiency with Java 17 (and preferably Java 21).
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs within microservice architectures.
• Solid expertise in SQL, especially PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Fluent English communication skills.
