SEO / AEO / GEO Lead – B2B Digital Risk & AI Search

About the role

This high‑impact position will shape search visibility for an emerging B2B category at the intersection of digital risk, reputation, and AI‑powered discovery. Based in Portugal, you will own the strategy across traditional search, answer engines, and generative AI search platforms, linking performance directly to leads, revenue and customer trust.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated SEO, AEO and GEO strategy focused on B2B Digital Risk Protection.
• Optimize content for traditional search engines and AI‑generated answers (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity).
• Influence AI interpretation of the company’s offerings through strategic use of entities, citations and review ecosystems.
• Collaborate with PR, SERM, content and growth teams to create a unified search ecosystem.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive measurement system covering search visibility, lead generation and commercial impact.
• Formulate hypotheses, run experiments, analyse results and continuously refine approaches.
• Lead R&D initiatives into emerging search technologies and experimental optimisation techniques.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional SEO experience, preferably in B2B or complex digital environments.
• Strong understanding of search engine mechanics, ranking factors and semantic search.
• Hands‑on, experimental mindset with a track record of building strategies from the ground up.
