Senior Specialist – Policy, Communications & Patient Advocacy

About the role

The Corporate Affairs team is seeking a Senior Specialist to lead policy, communications and patient‑advocacy initiatives on a one‑year contract. You will work closely with internal functions such as access, commercial and medical, as well as external stakeholders including policymakers, health organisations, patient groups and media.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute policy and public‑affairs strategies that support the company’s legislative and regulatory objectives.
• Design and implement patient‑engagement programmes aligned with regional and local priorities.
• Manage external communications to shape the corporate voice, reputation and narrative for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with access, commercial and medical teams to ensure consistent messaging across business areas.
• Monitor political, economic and social environments to identify risks and opportunities.

Required profile

• University degree in social sciences, health, communication or a related field.
• Minimum four years of experience in policy and communications, preferably within the pharmaceutical or health sector.
• Proven track record of delivering initiatives that positively influence external contexts.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to translate insights into actionable proposals.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, for daily business discussions and regional interactions.
