Senior Social Media Account Manager

About the role

VML, part of WPP, is seeking a Senior Social Media Account Manager to temporarily join its Social Media team. The professional will act as a senior reference for key client moments, ensuring both operational excellence and strategic direction across multiple accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor client relationships at critical stages such as presentations, approvals, escalations, and strategic reviews.
• Manage day‑to‑day account operations, guaranteeing compliance with timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
• Oversee 360° campaigns from briefing through execution, aligning all stakeholders.
• Support budget management, billing processes, and financial tracking per client.
• Participate in shoots and content production, linking clients, creative teams, and production partners.
• Prepare and maintain status reports, contact logs, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with the Social Media Creative & Strategy Lead on strategic planning and brief responses.
• Identify growth and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account and social media management.
• Ability to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Strong autonomy, rigor, and a results‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
