Senior Risk & AI Business Analyst

About the role

Feedzai builds AI-powered fraud detection and risk solutions used by banks, payment networks and acquirers to protect consumers and payment volume. As a Senior Risk & AI Business Analyst you bridge clients' business needs with technical implementation teams, working with financial institution stakeholders, project managers, data engineers and operations staff to deploy, configure and optimise the fraud detection solution. You also contribute to improving ways of working, share expertise and mentor other Business Analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse complex, ambiguous business and risk challenges and run workshops and interviews with client stakeholders to document requirements, fraud scenarios and investigative workflows
• Translate regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g. BSA/AML, PSD2 SCA) into system specifications
• Own the business analysis workstream for complex implementations, from requirements to solution validation and deployment, and define data mapping and event flows
• Develop functional specifications, coordinate UAT, write test scripts and support customer training and adoption
• Advise senior client stakeholders, lead stakeholder discussions and align business and technical teams
• Work with Product on requirements and documentation, run post-implementation reviews, create and share best practices, and mentor other Business Analysts

Required profile

• MSc or similar in Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in business analysis, fraud/risk, financial services, fintech or technology consulting
• Experience leading complex business analysis and solution design initiatives
• Ability to mentor colleagues and to travel 25% of the time

• Data querying tools such as SQL
• Excel or BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Understanding of data flows, integrations and APIs
• Fraud detection methodologies, risk analysis, alert management platforms and investigative workflows
