Senior RF Test Equipment Design Electrical Engineer – Hybrid (Aguadilla, PR)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior RF Test Equipment Design Electrical Engineer to join our Collins Aerospace team in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The position is hybrid, with three days onsite and two days remote, and requires U.S. citizenship and residency in Puerto Rico.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate RF test equipment and communication system solutions within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Create engineering and production test systems, interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, schematics, and circuit designs.
• Manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects.
• Lead the full circuit‑design lifecycle: requirements capture, schematic capture, analysis, board stack‑up, routing instructions, PCB layout coordination, test‑plan creation, root‑cause analysis, and hardware integration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (or advanced degree) with at least 5 years of relevant experience (or 3 years with an advanced degree).
• U.S. citizenship and legal ability to work in Puerto Rico.
• Ability to work on‑site three days per week and remotely two days.
