Senior RF Digital Design Engineer – Hybrid (Aguadilla, PR)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior RF Digital Design Engineer to join our Collins Aerospace team in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The position is hybrid, with three days onsite and two days remote, and requires U.S. citizenship.

Key responsibilities

• Design digital circuit cards from concept through layout and assembly.
• Coordinate with mechanical, software, and systems teams to meet design requirements.
• Collaborate with ECAD designers to create databases and drawings for PCBs/CCAs.
• Perform timing, power, and signal‑integrity analyses and verify designs.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and conduct bench‑level testing.
• Produce and present comprehensive design documentation.

Required profile

• STEM degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience (or advanced degree with 3 years).
• U.S. citizenship and legal ability to work in Puerto Rico.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• PCB design and full‑suite ECAD tool proficiency.
• Timing, power, and signal‑integrity analysis.
• Bench‑level testing and hardware troubleshooting.
• Design verification and trade‑study execution.
• Creation of detailed design documentation.
