Networking Qualification Engineer II

About the role

HPE is seeking a Networking Qualification Engineer II to design, test, and validate electrical and electronic components for networking products. This hybrid role requires two days per week on‑site at an HPE office and offers the chance to work with internal and outsourced development partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design portions of engineering solutions for electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms following established engineering principles.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate tolerances, form/fit/function, shock, vibration, EMI, safety, reliability, thermal performance, and power measurements.
• Collaborate with internal and outsourced partners on hardware design and development.
• Participate in project teams to deliver reliable, cost‑effective, high‑quality solutions for low‑to‑moderately complex networking products.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Typically 2–4 years of relevant experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electrical design tools and software packages.
• Experience designing electronic components, integrated circuitry, and algorithms.
• Ability to apply empirical analysis, modeling, and testing methodologies for hardware validation.
